The Xpress Singers are so excited about singing for the upcoming holidays and we would love to have you sing with us!

Rehearsals are starting Monday, October 7th from 6:00 -7:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 535 N Ewing Street, Helena.

All women singers from age 14 up are invited to join us. You don't need to read music because you will have access to learning tracks.

Rehearsals will be held every other Monday, same time, same place.

Starting sometime in November we will begin singing for our community and you will be able to sing with us as your time allows. Our season culminates with a Community Concert on December 15th, 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

We will also be hosting a children's chorus that will begin rehearsals later in the season so for all you Grandparents, Parents, and friends out there, start spreading the word!

Music educators…encourage your students to attend a fun filled day of a cappella harmonies with their singing friends!

Times: 8-9 arrival and registration, 9-6 A cappella Festival

Showcase: 6-7 pm, open to the public

Where: Capital High School, 100 Valley Dr, Helena

Who: Montana youth singers age 14-21

Cost: $10 for students, Music Educators attend for free

What’s Included: Sheet music, a festival t-shirt, access to part specific learning tracks, lunch and dinner.

The Helena Xpress Singers and Last Chancers barbershop choruses are proud to sponsor this full day of youth musical education as part of our continuing Youth Outreach program. 

We are bringing in two top notch clinicians from Portland and Seattle for this festival: Drew Osterhout and Rachel Pack.

The SSAA chorus will learn Lean on Me and the TTBB chorus will learn You’ve Got A Friend In Me. Both choruses will also learn Java Jive and Celebration that will be performed with the host choruses.

Music Educators who attend qualify to earn 8 hours of OPI renewal units for this day of music education. They will also be provided information on how to add the unique American art form of barbershop education to their curriculum, which includes access to free music.

Your choir students are invited to attend the A cappella Xpress Youth Festival in Helena on September 28th. 

Cost for students will be $10, with participants receiving a free T-Shirt.  Teachers are invited to attend at no cost.

Beginning at 9am, the day will include a cappella instruction with high voice, low voice and mixed voice ensembles.  A showcase featuring the students will follow at 4:30pm. 

Two excellent clinicians, master directors and award winning a cappella singers, will travel to Montana from Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon to headline this event.
